ANKER SOLIX · GUIDE
Plan balcony solar with storage.
Use solar power when you need it: plan panels and storage together, based on your location, consumption and technical requirements.

Start with your location and daily routine
How much usable space is available, and when does it receive sunlight? Orientation, shading and mounting plans influence the panel configuration. Also consider where the battery can stand and how cables will be routed.
A battery shifts when some of the generated energy is used. How well that fits your household depends on when power is generated and consumed. It does not imply a fixed savings figure.
Consider Solarbank, panels and accessories together
The Solarbank 4 E5000 Pro and Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro are starting points in the Solarbank family. Their product pages contain variants, manufacturer descriptions and bundle configurations. Compare the actual configuration as well as the battery’s name.
A larger installation or an existing PV system needs its own assessment. The Solarbank Max and Max AC use different system concepts. Our retrofit guide helps you identify your starting point.
Choosing for an existing PV installationWhat belongs in the right bundle?
- Match the panel count and dimensions to the usable mounting area.
- Check mounts for the intended installation location.
- Check cables, connectors and electrical input requirements.
- Distinguish the main battery, optional expansion batteries and meters in the package contents.
- Read the selected configuration’s manual before installation.
Work on an electrical installation and the chosen connection method require appropriate assessment. Product images do not necessarily show the full contents of every variant.
Frequently asked questions
Does a solar bundle always include storage?
The label alone is not enough. Compare the exact variant and its listed components on the product page.
Can I connect any solar panel?
No. Voltage, current, connectors and the permitted configuration must match the exact storage model. Use the manufacturer documentation to check.
Which size is right for my household?
Generation patterns, consumption times, desired reserve and technical limits all matter. Start with your location and consumption instead of simply choosing the largest capacity.
