ANKER SOLIX · GUIDE
Backup power for what matters to you.
Start with the devices: what do you want to power, for how long and where? Those questions help you choose a suitable portable power setup.

Check individual and combined power
List the devices you want to run simultaneously. Note their power draw and any higher starting surge. The total load must match the outputs and permitted operating conditions of the selected power station.
For a portable solution, start with the Anker SOLIX S2000. Its product page contains model information and available configurations. Home storage and a portable power station are different system solutions; their connection methods are not interchangeable.
View S2000 product detailsCapacity does not equal runtime
Stored energy is expressed in Wh or kWh, while the load is measured in watts. Stored energy divided by power provides a simple starting point. Usable runtime also depends on conversion losses, temperature, charge level and operating mode.
Compare manufacturer runtime figures together with their stated devices and test conditions. Also check whether a device runs continuously or cycles on and off.
Plan charging and usage boundaries
- Identify a suitable charging source and available charging time.
- For solar charging, check permitted input limits and panel compatibility.
- Follow the manual’s location, ventilation and environmental requirements.
- Check important devices individually against output type and operating mode.
- Arrange appropriate professional planning for any connection to home wiring.
A power station does not automatically replace a whole-home power supply. Backup ports, transfer functions and integration with fixed wiring depend on the model and configuration.
Frequently asked questions
Can it power every socket in my home?
Powering directly connected devices and integrating with home wiring are different applications. Use only the intended system arrangement and appropriate professional planning.
Is every power station an uninterruptible power supply?
No. Check whether the specific operating mode is supported and which transfer and load conditions apply. Sensitive or critical equipment may have additional requirements.
Does the S2000 include solar panels?
That depends on the selected variant. A standalone power station and a bundle can contain different components. Compare the full package contents.
